Kalo is a home-based health and wellness salon. Leanne Stone, the owner and therapist, qualified in 1999 from Wits Technikon. Leanne obtained a National Diploma in Somatology and then went on to study further, qualifying with a BTech Degree in Somatology in 2002. Leanne has years of both practical salon experience, as well as lecturing, at highly renowned higher educational institutions. Kalo opened its doors in April 2011. Kalo offers one on one private treatments. Bookings are set up to allow for full privacy.

Manicure and Pedicures

Standard manicure – 45 minutes R190
A manicure is a treatment of the hands and fingernails, including nail filing, cuticle work and trimming, hand massage, and application of nail polish OR buff and shine.

Standard pedicure – 1 hour R250
A pedicure is a treatment of the feet and toenails, including foot soak and scrub, nail cutting and filing, cuticle work and trimming, rough skin removal, foot massage, and application of nail polish OR buff and shine.

The application of gel overlays over the natural nail.

Gel overlays with basic manicure – 1 hour 20 minutes R 340

Reflexology

Best suited for: anyone of any age, even new-born babies, and to treat specific conditions, i.e. stress, digestive problems, insomnia, headaches and migraines, colic in babies, side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment etc.
